Whether he is running a marathon in Leadville, Colorado over the highest peaks in the Rocky Mountains or at the office with his sleeves rolled up, John makes relentless forward progress until he reaches the finish line.

John is a persuasive litigator and a forceful negotiator. He calls on a variety of tools to make his case: storytelling, deep legal knowledge, diplomacy, and a strong understanding of business. He takes a consultative approach and guides clients toward the right strategy for their circumstances.

John treats clients like old friends. He is blunt and direct and talks straight, but is also kind, warm, and encouraging. He coaches clients through the legal challenges they are facing.

A personal commitment to protecting homes.

John began his foreclosure practice representing banks. His father became his first foreclosure defense client, and John took on the case to save the family home—which he was able to do. That experience continues to inform his work with homeowners.

His practice includes loan modifications, foreclosure defense litigation, short sales, and emergency efforts to stop sheriff’s sales. He develops strategies around each client’s circumstances and goals.
